At the NHMFL Site in Tallahassee
- Up to 1300 MHz (<=30 T), resistive magnet, low resolution (~100 ppm
over 1 mm), 32 mm warm bore (19 mm at 4.2 K, 15 mm at 0.5 K); 14 ppm peak to
peak ripple, ramping at <=0.34 T/s; for condensed matter NMR.
- Up to 1040 MHz (<=24.5 T), resistive magnet, medium resolution (~10 ppm
over 1 mm), 32 mm warm bore; 14 ppm peak to peak ripple, ramping at <=0.34
T/s; for condensed matter NMR.
- Up to 850 MHz (20 T) medium resolution (~ 1 ppm inhomogeneity over 1 cm
diameter spherical volume), narrow bore magnet (31 mm room temperature, 50 mm
cold bore), cryostat pumped, persistent, delivered December 1994 by Magnex,
equipped with a TecMag console, to be used for solid-state NMR.
- 720 MHz (16.8 T) high-resolution (~ 1 ppb inhomogeneity), narrow bore
magnet, cryostat pumped at 2.2K, persistent or driven, delivered March 8, 1995,
to be used for solution-state NMR. A matching NMR spectrometer has been
ordered.
- 600 MHz (14 T) high-resolution (~ 1 ppb inhomogeneity), wide bore (89 mm),
delivered December 1994 by Magnex and Bruker, for solution- and solid-state
NMR, diffusion studies, in-vivo spectroscopy, micro-imaging.
- 500 MHz (11.7 T) high-resolution (~ 1 ppb inhomogeneity), narrow bore,
expected ~ early 1995, for solution-state biomolecular NMR,
- 300 MHz (7 T) high-resolution (~ 1 ppb inhomogeneity), wide bore,
delivered October 1994, used for developing new solid-state methods, including
magic angle spinning techniques,
- 300 MHz (7 T) high-resolution (~ 1 ppb inhomogeneity), narrow bore,
delivered October 1994, used for development of new solution-state
methods.
