At the NHMFL site at UF Health Science Center
- 3 tesla, ~100 ppb inhomogeneity over 200 mm, 800 mm bore whole-body sytem
for Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy (MRS),
and echo-planar imaging for human functional brain imaging and cardiac studies.
- 4.7 tesla, ~100 ppb inhomogeneity, 330 mm bore imaging spectrometer for
animal studies.
- 12 tesla, ~100 ppb inhomogeneity, 400 mm bore imaging spectrometer for
animal studies, proposed installation in 1998 if funding is
obtained.
