Igor data analysis software is provided, as well as spreadsheet and word processing packages.
Ethernet links to Internet are available in every magnet cell and office, with the latest remote terminal and file transfer software.
Data files may be stored for transportation home on DOS or Macintosh compatible 3.5 inch floppy disks or on 90 MB Bernoulli disks
The pulsed field facility at NHMFL@LANL provides fast data acquisition hardware with gated preamps to avoid overloading by the initial transient.
Users will own their data. NHMFL will not make any patent or other claims unless worked out in advance as part of a collaboration with NHMFL staff.
